This Privacy Policy describes how BKV Productions LLC ("BKV," "we," "us," or "our") processes personal information in connection with the Hoff & Leigh Valuations platform (the "Service"). BKV provides the platform and acts primarily as a service provider/ processor to Hoff & Leigh, Inc. ("H&L"). H&L determines how the Service is used and is responsible for the content and data that users of the Service submit.

Scope

This Policy applies to personal information processed through the Service. The Service is intended for U.S. use only. We do not direct the Service to children under 13.

Roles

In most cases, H&L is the business/controller for Client and Broker information. BKV acts as a service provider/processor, processing personal information at H&L’s direction to operate and improve the Service. For inquiries about H&L’s use of your information or to exercise rights under applicable law, contact us first at bderkhan@bkv.tech and we will coordinate with H&L as appropriate.

Information we collect

• Account and profile information (e.g., name, email, organization, role).
• Property and deal information you submit, including documents, images, videos, and other media related to buildings and evaluations.
• Usage, device, and log information, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service.
• Support and communications content.

Sensitive information: We do not request Social Security numbers, bank statements, health information, or similar sensitive data. Do not upload such information. If you nevertheless choose to upload it (for example, embedded within documents related to your building), you instruct us to process it for the purpose of providing the Service, and you represent you have the right to do so.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, and maintain the Service.
• Process uploads and documents for evaluation workflows.
• Operate human-in-the-loop review to support quality assurance and customer support.
• Analyze usage to improve features, performance, and reliability.
• Communicate with you about the Service. Marketing emails are opt-in only.
• Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect rights and safety.

AI, model, and parsing services

To deliver document parsing and related functionality, we may send content you provide to third-party processing services, which may include AWS Textract, Llama Parse (LlamaCloud), OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (including Gemini), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Vercel, Supabase, DigitalOcean, and other providers we add from time to time. We request that these providers not use customer content to train their models, where such controls are offered. However, we cannot guarantee how independent third parties process data, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for third-party use of data, including any model training or retention by such providers.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them as the sole source of truth. You remain responsible for reviewing all results and deciding how to use them.

Sharing and disclosure

• Service providers and subprocessors that host, process, or support the Service.
• H&L and its brokers/authorized personnel, consistent with the Service’s purpose.
• Legal, safety, and compliance purposes (e.g., to comply with law or protect rights).
• Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, or asset sale).

Retention

We retain user-submitted content and related derived data for up to five (5) years unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is required by law. If you request deletion, we will delete personal information within thirty (30) days of confirming your request, subject to permitted retention for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or backup integrity.

Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures, including transport encryption, access controls, role-based permissions, short‑lived signed URLs for private files, and database access policies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

The Service is intended for U.S. use only. Hosting and processing principally occur in the United States. Certain caching/CDN or third-party processing may involve global infrastructure. By using the Service, you consent to any such transfers.

Your choices

• Marketing: We send marketing communications only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time via the email footer or by contacting us.
• Access, correction, deletion: Contact bderkhan@bkv.tech. We will coordinate with H&L as needed to fulfill requests.

Do Not Track

The Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals. You may use browser settings to manage cookies and local storage.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the last revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
